The month that will allow us to have some sence of normalcy. By normalcy, I mean the kids and I will be back to school. Aside from that most things will not be normal. The 2 older kids will be home doing online learning. Grade 4 and Senior Kindergarten. I’ll have a full time University schedule (entering my last year). […]

Hello all 🙋♀️ As I’ve mentioned before… having premature triplets requires a level of social distancing similar to what all of us are experiencing today. I have also been a stay at home mom for the past 5 years. In the past 2 years, as a family we have changed our life in order to make sure the health of our smallest family members was optimal. The key to deal with kids at home. Make a schedule as a guide of what you would like to do but you must be flexible. You also need to schedule free time. Have a space where kids can run around just as they would do at the park. Open the curtains as well as windows. Let the fresh air and sun light shine. Parents/caregivers have a lot of patience and when you feel overwhelmed please step away. Leave your kids in a safe place or busy with an activity. If you need to run for 5 minutes to the washroom and relax. Remember kids need structure and they need to continue learning. However, they also need some normalcy and free play. Unscheduled play. I’m not an expert, I’m just a stay at home mom. I’m sharing what I have learned on the pass 5 years. 》》🦸♂️🦸♀️👦🧒🧒🧒🧒 Follow us on Instagram and Twitter @ journeysandus7
