I didn’t get tattoo I didn’t decorate the dinning room I didn’t organize the photo Album I didn’t do a water fast I didn’t finish the book of Psalms I only recycled half of the formula cans I didn’t collect clothes for the NICU I didn’t drop off the donations at the thrift store. I watched Netflix I kept my current skin routine I had a plan and 30 goals…. I couldn’t complete them all before my 30th birthday. My goal with this blog is to be honest with all of you as well as my self. Can’t wait to share this year’s adventures with all of you!

If you are consistent with your workouts I’m little tiny bit jealous. I’ve always understood the importance of exercise. I’ve experienced the benefits and the feeling after the work out… amazing. So why am I not working out…. Am I lazy or exhausted or both?… I’m gonna go with both Being a full time mom to 5 boys and a full time student is sometimes exhausting. Once the triplets were born I had to pause a lot of things in my life and exercise was one of them. Yes, I move around a lot during the day but that is not exercise… I’ve decided to start from 0. During the triplets pregnancy I lost a lot of muscle mass. For the last couple of days I’ve started my daily routine with this ( https://youtu.be/wPpObC5PnwM ) work out from the momsintofitness YouTube channel. It has been challenging.. I have a long way to go just to get back to my pre pregnancy fitness level. I’m sharing this with all of you because I need to be accountable. I will post some updates on this once a month. I know I will eventually get stronger but right now it feels impossible to achieve my goal.. *Remember to always speak with your health care provider before starting any diet or exercise.
In recent years, we’ve heard Margaret Atwood’s name quite a bit. The Handmaid’s Tale TV show has been a successful hit. The story has also been relevant in the women’s movements, specially in the U.S.A. I have never read her books but today that is going to change. As you know by now I got a bunch of kids running around. Whenever I get the chance to read a book I use ebooks. I would prefer to read the printed version but I can’t risk going to the library or having the kids rip the book apart. Today, I logged into the library’s catalog and I went to look for the Handsmaid’s Tale. All the copies are checked out so I browsed to see what else was there. I came across Moral Disorder. I liked the cover, it was available and I checked it out.. Today I’ll start reading the book… I’ll try my best to finish it by the 12th! Happy Reading!

For the past 15 years the term “Global Warming” or “Climate Change” has been used a lot. Some people say is happening, others say is fear mongering. I’m not here to debate whether is real or not. What I want to do is to be more conscious about my daily choices and how they affect other beings. Growing up, I was introduced to the importance of preserving the ecosystem and learned some things that I could do to help the environment as well as people. Even after that, it wasn’t until the year 2011 when I started to recycle, throw food scraps in the waste and garbage in the garbage bin. I still don’t do enough, but I have pick up some habits to reduce the amount of garbage we produce. I love to use straws, so what I do is reuse straws. I wash them with soap and water, air dry it and put them in a container so they don’t get damaged. Yes, In Ontario, Canada we use bagged milk, the amount of single use plastic in the package is embarrassing. As a family we have cut back on the consumption of cow milk. At the grocery store we found bottled organic milk. The milk is expensive, for 1 litre we pay $6.00 CAD plus tax. There are 7 of us, that means we would need 2 bottles a day of milk.
