June is for Breakfast

Growing up in the tropics was one of the most wonderful experiences so far. Besides my family what I miss the most is the heat, rain, and humidity. I love Canada but I’m not too fond of the weather. Every year except for the first year after the birth of all of my children, I avoid turning on the heat unless is necessary.

I know is not summer yet, but I have been loving the current heat wave. Hot weather, hungry kids and parents create a unique set of challenges when cooking and eating. It would be a disastrous combination to overheat my self cooking while taking care of the kids.

On Tuesdays and Fridays during the month of June, I’ll be sharing with you some of my mom/kid approved breakfast for those hot summer days!
