Christmas Tree

Hello Everyone!

I hope you’re all doing great. I’ve been crying a bit … I miss my mom a lot.

As we know, life continues after someone passes away. This Christmas season is tough but my boys are really excited to celebrate the Jolly Season.

I’ve decided to scale back this years Christmas decorations and celebration. I usually go all out with the lights and I decorate the tree by my self.

Today I’ll start a mini Christmas series of posts.
You will get a pick of this year’s Christmas celebrations and traditions.

This year…the kids and I put up the Christmas tree and decorated it. Our ornaments have been collected over the last 10 years. We use a fake tree, we’ve had this one for the past 4 years.

As you see the ornaments are randomly placed on the tree and you can see a few on the floor.

This was the tree last night…. the triplets and T broke 5 ornaments, they kept taking ornaments down. The tinsel and light were all tangled…

I decided to take down 70% of the ornaments and not stress about the misplaced and messy Christmas tree.

Since I was a little girl, the Christmas tree decoration was a highlight of the Christmas season. When I was smaller we used glassed ornaments and the lights were made out of glass to. I’m usually not fond of using plastic but when it comes to the ornaments.. I’m very thankful they are made out of plastic.

I’m starting to question my self… why would I put up a Christmas tree with  three 22 month old triplets?

I have a feeling our Christmas tree might be broken by the end of the season. I can however say that if that happens is okay. Christmas isn’t complete without a Christmas tree.

Wish us luck…

Hugs to all and talk to you tomorrow!
